The Product Shop

Who are they:
The Product Shop produce educational software for teachers. The most cost-effective way of getting their products in front of the correct teacher is by direct mail.

Their objectives:
To outsource the enclosing of their mailings.
To find postage savings.
To improve their data quality.

How these objectives were achieved:
Before contacting us, The Product Shop had used a mailing house on one previous occasion but had not found the experience beneficial. Therefore, they continued to enclose the mailing in-house. We gained their confidence through our experience, procedures and systems.

Previously, the client posted their mailings using 2nd class stamps. We suggested supplying envelopes with a pre-printed PPI (Postage Paid Indicia) and sending via Royal Mail’s Mailsort 3 service. On average this saves the client over £600 per mailing.

In order that our client’s data is clean and as up to date as possible, we can process it through software to check against PAF (Post Office Address File), MORTIS (deceased file), MPS (Mailing Preference Service), TPS (Telephone Preference Service) and FPS (Fax Preference Service).

The initial audit is free and then the client chooses which amendments they would like to select. This process can save clients thousands of pounds against wasted print and postage costs.
